A series of motion posters designed for the fictional Zayton Music Festival, a celebration of contemporary and traditional Minnan music. Drawing inspiration from Mitsuo Katsui’s bold spatial compositions and Hansje van Halem’s intricate pattern work, the visuals combine kaleidoscopic geometry with spectrum-infused lighting. Each animation translates the layered sonic textures of two featured Minnan bands—Samsoi Music and Lilium Taiwan—into a vibrant field of shifting color, rhythm, and light. The project explores how motion design can transform auditory experience into a dynamic visual language, blurring the boundary between seeing and hearing.
