This multimedia work combines music, motion, and installation to reimagine Lotus in the Celestial Palace through a contemporary lens. Drawing inspiration from the aesthetics of Chinese ink painting, the motion sequences capture the organic qualities of dripping, spreading, and overlapping ink, evoking both delicacy and intensity. The shifting imagery unfolds in dialogue with an original musical composition, whose rise and fall mirror the dynamic rhythms of the visuals. Together, sound and image create an immersive, sensorial landscape where tradition meets digital expression. Developed in collaboration with 3D graphic designer Candice Shuo Yang and composer Jinbo Zhang, the piece explores harmony across mediums.
